In 2018, I decided to focus on solo adventures throughout remote territories of the Pacific North-West to get a better understanding of the world surrounding me.

For me it was the start of a journey of freedom, adventure and intellectual exploration.

Through challenging and exciting expeditions, I intend to observe the behaviour of nature, study animal habits and understand cultural foundations.

This journey took me from Vancouver Island to the Bering Sea, across the Yukon Territory, interior Alaska, British Columbia and isolated islands of the Pacific Ocean. Travelling by canoe, bike, sea-kayak, foot, on a rusty fishing boat, or even on the back of a laundry delivery truck!

I had the privilege of meeting contacts from amazing locations and communities and learned to appreciate the value and frailty of it all.

I call this project: My learning journey.

TIME TO ACT.

Now I’m looking to give meaning to this journey, a way to share my own observations, and all the interactions I had with the environment and communities I visited.

Passionate about analog camera and Super 8mm movies, I shot some moments and encounters along the way.

I also had the opportunity to interview a few individuals, who shared their own life stories, experiences and visions.

I didn’t receive a formal training in ecology or environmental studies, even less in writing or social media management. I’m just an inspired and concerned citizen of the planet who wants to take action with my own tools.

Here, no big ass camera or expedition staff on land. Just a couple old film cameras from the 50’s, a descent computer, two arms, two legs and lot of inspiration!
